Tree Planting with Plant One

KAST has been proud business partners of Plant One CIC for a couple of years now, and this week we were invited to join them at their new site near Falmouth for another day of tree planting.

Some very basic facts for you: Worldwide our tree cover is around 31%. In the UK this is down at 13%. However in Cornwall we are as low as 9%.

Plant One's mission is to help replenish our Cornish temperate rainforests and they do this by partnering with local land-owners and businesses.

We had a great time with the team, and powered by a seemingly endless supply of biscuits we helped to finish off the planting on this site with plenty of time to spare to head to the pub.
